Jordan Walne (born 28 December 1992) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays in the for the Barrow Raiders in the Betfred Championship. He has previously played for Hull Kingston Rovers and the Salford Red Devils in the Super League, plus Oldham RLFC ( Heritage № 1315) on dual-registration. Leyland () is a town in South Ribble, Lancashire, England, six miles (10 km) south of Preston. The population was 35,578 at the 2011 Census. The Swinton Lions are a professional rugby league club based in Swinton, Greater Manchester, England, which competes in the Championship. The club has won the Championship six times and three Challenge Cups. Before 1996, the club was known simply as Swinton. History Early years The club was formed in 1866 when members of Swinton Cricket Club decided to take up "football" in the winter to keep fit. Other than an annual challenge against the local Lancashire Rifle Volunteers from 1869, the only games played were amongst the club's own membership.
