Jordan Walker (baseball)
Jordan Alexander Walker (born May 22, 2002) is an American professional baseball outfielder and third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Cardinals selected him in the first round of the 2020 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2023. Amateur career Walker attended Decatur High School where he played baseball. In 2019, his junior year, he batted .519 with 17 home runs, 60 runs batted in (RBIs), and 24 stolen bases. As a senior in 2020, he hit .457 with four home runs and 15 RBIs over 16 games before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was selected as the Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year. He committed to play college baseball at Duke University. Professional career Minor leagues The St. Louis Cardinals selected Walker in the first round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft with the 21st overall selection. Jordan "Jelly" Walker (born August 11, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Seton Hall Pirates, Tulane Green Wave and UAB Blazers. High school career Walker grew up in Port Washington, New York. He began his high school career at Long Island Lutheran High School. Dissatisfied with the lack of playing time there, he transferred to The Patrick School after his sophomore year. Walker averaged 9.7 points per game for the Celics as a junior. As a senior, he averaged 11.9 points and 4.8 assists per game, leading the team to a 29–4 record and earning First Team All-State honors from NJHoops.com. Walker posted a 31-point, seven-assist performance against Linden High School and helped The Patrick School win the Tournament of Champions. Jordan Walker-Pearlman (born June 24, 1967) is an American film director, screenwriter, film producer, and executive. Early life Walker-Pearlman was born in New York City, and is the nephew of actor Gene Wilder with whom he lived part of the time since childhood. Career Jordan is best known for the 2000 film '' The Visit'', for which he was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards (One for Directing and one for Writing the Screenplay) and the movie four. His 2005 film, ''Constellation'', starring Gabrielle Union, Zoe Saldana, and Billy Dee Williams, premiered at the Pan African Film Festival, Roxbury Film Festival, Black Filmmmaker Magazine Film Festival, and the Chicago International Film Festival.
