Jordan Tripp
Jordan Lee Tripp (born April 3, 1991) is a former American football inside linebacker. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Montana. High school Tripp attended Big Sky High School in Missoula, Montana, where he was a team captain in football his senior year. He was an all-state and all-conference pick as a senior when he had 72 tackles, including 13 for loss, and 12 sacks. College career Tripp attended the University of Montana and played for the Montana Grizzlies football team from 2009 to 2013. While playing at the University of Montana, Tripp was teammates with future NFL linebacker Brock Coyle and cornerback Trumaine Johnson (cornerback). The Cal Poly Mustangs are the athletic teams representing California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. A field goal (FG) is a means of scoring in gridiron football. To score a field goal, the team in possession of the ball must place kick, or drop kick, the ball through the goal, i.e., between the uprights and over the crossbar. Portland State Vikings is the nickname of the NCAA-affiliated, intercollegiate athletic teams representing Portland State University of Portland, Oregon. The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). The Eastern Washington Eagles football team represents Eastern Washington University in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision. Trumaine Monte Johnson (born January 1, 1990) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at University of Montana, and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. High school career A native of Stockton, California, Johnson attended Edison High School, where he played football and was an unranked wide receiver prospect. College career In 2008, Johnson played college football for Montana, where he was a rare starter at cornerback as a true freshman. Brock Coyle (born October 12, 1990) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at Montana and signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2014. College career Coyle played college football at the University of Montana in Missoula. As a true freshman in 2009, he collected thirty tackles and two interceptions as a linebacker, then redshirted in 2010 following off-season surgery.
