Jordan Stout
Jordan Connor Stout (born August 4, 1998) is an American football punter for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Virginia Tech and Penn State. Early life and high school career Stout grew up in Honaker, Virginia and attended Honaker High School. He was a three time All-State selection at kicker. Stout was named the Tigers' team MVP as a senior after making all nine of his field goal attempts and averaging 47 yards per punt. College career Virginia Tech Stout began his college career at Virginia Tech and redshirted his true freshman season after joining the team as a walk-on. As a redshirt freshman, Stout served as a kickoff specialist for the Hokies and recorded 60 touchbacks on 71 kickoff attempts. After the end of the season, Stout entered the NCAA transfer portal. Punter (football)
A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. Punters may also occasionally take part in fake punts in those same situations, when they throw or run the football instead of punting. Skills and usage The purpose of the punt is to force the team that is receiving the kick to start as far as possible from the kicking team's end zone. Accordingly, the most effective punts land just outside the receiving team's end zone and land either out of bounds (making it impossible to advance the ball until the next play) or after being kicked exceptionally high (allowing the kicking team time to run down the field and prevent the punt returner from advancing the ball). Sam Koch
Samuel David Koch ( ; born August 13, 1982) is a former American football punter who played for the Baltimore Ravens for his entire 16-year career in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska. He is known for developing many punting variations, revolutionizing his position in the process. Early years Koch attended Seward High School in Seward, Nebraska and played punter, kicker, tight end, offensive lineman, fullback, and linebacker for Coach Greg Welch and the football team. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. It was the first draft to be held in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first five selections were defensive players, the second-most taken at the start of a draft after the six in 1991. Chris Bahr
Christopher Kurt Bahr (born February 3, 1953) is a former professional American football and soccer player. He was a placekicker in the National Football League (NFL) and played midfielder in the North American Soccer League. High school Attended Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
