Jordan Kos
Jordan Audra Sargent Kos (born June 25, 2000) is a female international Canadian lawn bowler. Personal Kos started lawn bowling at the Regina Lawn Bowling Club in May, 2008 at the age of 7 years. Kos became a member of the Development Squad of Team Canada in 2014, at the age of 14 years - the youngest player every to do so. Kos became a member of the High Performance, Senior Squad, Team Canada in 2016. Kos attended the University of Regina, Faculty of Education and Faculty of Arts History. Bowls career World Championships In 2020, Kos was selected for the blue ribbon event of the sport, the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023, she was selected again, as part of the team to represent Canada at the 2023 World Outdoor Bowls Championship. She participated in the women's pairs and the women's fours events. Asia Pacific Bowls Championships
The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships formerly the Pacific Rim Championships was a bowls, lawn bowling competition held between national bowls organisations in the Asia Pacific region. The event was inaugurated in 1985, and it was initially held every two years but then took place every four years and was a qualifying event for the World Bowls Championship, World Outdoor Bowls Championships. In 2021, the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship was officially cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. World Bowls then decided that the World Championships would take place every two years starting in 2023. 2022 Commonwealth Games
The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022. Birmingham was announced as host on 21 December 2017. The Games marked England's third time hosting the Commonwealth Games after London 1934 and Manchester 2002, and the 7th Games held in the United Kingdom, with previous events in Wales and Scotland: Cardiff 1958, Edinburgh 1970 and 1986 and Glasgow 2014.
