Jordan Blair Daydora Jarvis (; born 17 April 1998) is a Hong Kong-born Filipino professional footballer who currently plays as a centre back for Philippines Football League club One Taguig. He is also a former Philippines youth international. Early life Jarvis was born in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong to an English father and a Filipina mother. He studied in YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College for his secondary school life. His father Mark Jarvis was the owner of Philippine Premier League club United Makati. Sai Ying Pun is an area in Western District, on Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. It is administratively part of the Central and Western District. Etymology In Cantonese, ''Sai'' () means "west" and ''Ying Pun'' () means "camp", especially a military camp. It was where the early British military stayed. Location Sai Ying Pun is built on the steeply sloping lower slopes of Victoria Peak and also on the western reclamation. The 2020 Philippines Football League, also known as The Philippines Football League brought to you by Qatar Airways, due to the league's title sponsorship, was the fourth season of the Philippines Football League (PFL), the professional football league of the Philippines. For the first time, the champion of the tournament qualified for the Group Stage of the 2021 AFC Champions League, which was expanded to 40 teams from previous 32. Originally scheduled to start on March 21, 2020, the league was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league was supposed to commence on October 25, 2020, under a shortened calendar with each club playing a total of only five matches. Dan Stephen Castillo Palami (born June 9, 1970) is the general manager of the Philippine men's national football team since 2009. He is credited for his contributions to the revival of football in the Philippines due to the national team's performance at the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup. Early life and education Dan Palami was born in Tacloban on June 9, 1970. He studied at the University of the Philippines and pursued a degree in accountancy. Palami became a certified public accountant. He also studied law at the same university but stopped his studies during his fourth year to establish a railway company.
