Jordan Holland
Jordan Rashad Holland (born March 15, 1995) is an American former professional American football, football cornerback. He is the son of outside linebackers coach and run game specialist Johnny Holland for the San Francisco 49ers. He played college football at Prairie View A&M University in Texas and attended Elkins High School (Missouri City, Texas), Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas. He has also been a member of the Billings Wolves and Cleveland Gladiators. Professional career On August 26, 2019, Holland signed with the San Francisco 49ers. He was waived during final roster cuts on August 30, 2019. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns. A cornerback's skill set typically requires proficiency in anticipating the quarterback, backpedaling, executing single and zone coverage, disrupting pass routes, block shedding, and tackling. Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU or PV) is a public historically black land-grant university in Prairie View, Texas.
