Jordan Callahan
Jordan Alexander Callahan (born October 21, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Esgueira of the Portuguese Basketball League. Standing at 1.84 m (6 ft in), he mainly plays at the point guard position. College career Callahan played college basketball for Tulane University. He left the school as its all-time leader in 3-pointers made. In 120 games, he scored 1,269 points and had 304 assists. Professional career In 2013 he signed with Kotwica Kolobrezeg Kotwica Kołobrzeg. In July 2015, Callahan signed with Crailsheim Merlins of the German Basketball Bundesliga. In the 2015–16 season, he averaged 11.4 points and 4.4 assists per game with Crailsheim. On February 21, 2017, Callahan signed with Russian side Parma of the VTB United League. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season.
