Jonelle Price (née Richards) (born 14 October 1980) is a New Zealand equestrian, competing in eventing. She is married to Tim Price, also a New Zealand eventing rider. They are both competing at top international level. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she won the bronze medal in Team eventing. In 2018, she won the Badminton Horse Trials in England. and also won the Luhmuhlen Horse Trials on Maggie in 2018. Equestrian At The Summer Olympics
Equestrian sports were first included in the Olympic Games in the Equestrian at the 1900 Summer Olympics, Summer Olympics of 1900 in Paris. They were again included in 1912, and have been included in every subsequent edition of the Games. The Olympic equestrian disciplines are dressage, eventing, and show-jumping. The Adelaide Equestrian Festival is an annual three-day event held in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It was known as the Australian International Three Day Event up until 2022. It comprises dressage, cross-country and show-jumping and is usually staged in late April. The event is unique in being held in a city-centre, taking place in the Adelaide Park Lands. The Bicton Arena International 5*, known for sponsorship reasons as the Chedington Bicton Park 5* Horse Trials was a CCI 5* eventing competition held as a one-off replacement for the Burghley Horse Trials in 2021, following the cancellation of both UK 5* events in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event was won by Gemma Tattersall riding Chilli Knight.
