His books include ''The Jesuits: Missions, Myths and Histories'' (HarperCollins, 2004), published in the United States as ''God's Soldiers'' (Doubleday, 2004). Jonathan Wright (born 8 March 1987) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who most recently played for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. He primarily played and . Background Wright was born in Gilgandra, New South Wales, Australia. He played his junior football for the Northern Lake Warriors before being signed by the Newcastle Knights. Jonathan Patrick Wright (born 4 June 1965) is an English cricketer. Wright is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium. He was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Wright made his debut for Worcestershire 2nd X1 in 1982 & represented England at U19 level at an International tournament in Holland in 1983. He went on to sign professionally for the county in 1986. Before signing for Worcestershire he represented Leicestershire 2nd X1 in 1984 & 1985. Wright was released by Worcestershire at the end of the 1988 season having been unable to establish himself in the first team at the time of Worcestershire’s most successful period in their history. Wright made his debut in minor counties cricket for Shropshire against Wales Minor Counties in the 1991 Minor Counties Championship. Jonathan Wright is a British journalist and literary translator. Biography Wright was born in Andover, Hampshire, and spent his childhood in Canada, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Germany. He attended Packwood Haugh School from 1966 to 1967 and Shrewsbury School from 1967 to 1971. He studied Arabic, Turkish and Islamic civilisation at St John's College, Oxford. He joined Reuters news agency in 1980 as a correspondent, and has been based in the Middle East for most of the last three decades. He has served as Reuters' Cairo bureau chief, and he has lived and worked throughout the region, including in Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Tunisia and the Persian Gulf, Persian Gulf region. Jonathan Jasper Wright (February 11, 1840 – February 18, 1885) was an African-American lawyer who served as a state senator and judge on the Supreme Court of the State of South Carolina during Reconstruction from 1870 to 1877. Biography Wright was born on February 11, 1840, in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. When he was about six years old his parents moved to Montrose, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. He attended the district school during the winter months, working for the neighboring farmers the rest of the year. He saved up a small sum of money and entered Lancasterian University in Ithaca, New York State. After a thorough course of study there, he returned to the village where his parents resided.
