Jonathan Walker (1799 – May 1, 1878), known as "The Man with the Branded Hand", was an American reformer who became a national hero in 1844 when he was tried and sentenced as a slave stealer following his attempt to help seven runaway slaves find freedom. He was branded on his hand by the United States Government with the markings "S S", for "Slave Stealer". Biography Jonathan Walker was born in Harwich, Massachusetts. During his youth in Massachusetts, Walker learned to sail and became captain of a fishing vessel. In early 1837, he went to Florida and became a railroad contractor. The condition of the slaves interested him, and in 1844 Walker aided several of them as they attempted to make escape in an open boat from the coast of Florida to the British West Indies, where slavery had been abolished ten years before. Jonathan Walker (born 20 February 1991) is a Scotland international rugby league footballer who plays as a . He has previously played for the Castleford Tigers ( Heritage № 909), Hull Kingston Rovers, Bradford Bulls, Leigh Centurions and the Darlington Point Roosters. Background Walker was born in England. Club career Walker started his career with Castleford Tigers. In 2009, he was loaned out to Gateshead Thunder, where he made seven appearances. He made his début for Castleford against Wigan Warriors in round 16 of 2010's Super League XV, coming off the interchange bench for his first game. Jonathan Hoge Walker (July 20, 1754 – March 23, 1824) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Education and career Born on July 20, 1754, near Hogestown, Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County, Province of Pennsylvania, British America, Walker graduated from Dickinson College in 1787 and read law in 1790. He was elected as a member to the American Philosophical Society in 1786. He served as a soldier in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He entered private practice in Northumberland, Pennsylvania from 1790 to 1806. He was President Judge of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for the Fourth Judicial District from 1806 to 1818. Jonathan Jacob Walker (born September 17, 1985) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Formerly the bassist of Panic! at the Disco, Walker was also the lead guitarist and occasional split vocalist of The Young Veins (which he founded with Panic! at the Disco's former lead guitarist and songwriter Ryan Ross), which is now on indefinite hiatus. Having gone on to release several solo recordings, he is now mostly songwriting and producing. Musical career Walker attended Bartlett High School in Bartlett, Illinois and first became known in the Chicago scene in 2003 when he was just 17 years old as the replacement bass player for 504 Plan. Walker then toured with The Academy Is... as a guitar tech and a videographer. Walker joined Panic! at the Disco in May 2006, replacing former bassist Brent Wilson. At the time he joined, he was 20 years old, making him the oldest band member.

Jonny Walker (born September 13, 1974) is an American former professional soccer goalkeeper who is currently the associate head coach of the University of Memphis Women's Soccer Team. Walker played professionally in Chile and the United States, including two stints with Major League Soccer (MLS). He earned three caps with the United States Men's National Team (USMNT).
