Jonathan Tiersten
Jonathan Tiersten (born August 11, 1965) is an American actor and singer, who is mostly known for his role as Ricky Thomas in the 1983 cult classic ''Sleepaway Camp''. He reprised the role in the 2008 sequel '' Return to Sleepaway Camp''. In between acting Jonathan took to music, fronting a number of bands, mostly based out of the Fort Collins, Colorado area. Tiersten is currently the lead singer of his own band, Ten Tiers and composed the score to a short starring David Krumholtz (from the TV series ''Numb3rs''). Tiersten also starred in the 2012 film ''The Perfect House'' in which he played a serial killer named John Doesy and the upcoming (as of May 2014) thriller film ''Redemption'' which co-stars George Loros (Buffalo Ray Curto from ''The Sopranos'') and Meredith Ostrom (''Love Actually''). Queens is a borough of New York City, coextensive with Queens County, in the U.S. state of New York. Located on Long Island, it is the largest New York City borough by area. Mickey & Sylvia
Mickey & Sylvia was an American R&B duo composed of Mickey Baker and Sylvia Vanderpool, who later became Sylvia Robinson. They are best known for their number-one R&B single "Love Is Strange" in 1957. Baker and Vanterpool began recording together in 1954. They first recorded as Mickey & Sylvia in 1955 on Rainbow Records before signing to Groove Records where they became the first big seller for the label. The duo later formed their own label, Willow Records. Although Mickey & Sylvia initially disbanded in 1958, they reunited in 1960 and continued to record together on an infrequent basis until 1965, when Baker moved to France. Brian Jeffrey Krause (born February 1, 1969) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Leo Wyatt on The WB television series ''Charmed'' (1998–2006) and for portraying the lead role of Charles Brady in the 1992 horror film ''Sleepwalkers (1992 film), Sleepwalkers''. Love Is Strange
"Love Is Strange" is a crossover hit by American rhythm and blues duet Mickey & Sylvia, which was released in late November 1956 by the Groove record label. The song was based on a guitar riff by Jody Williams and was written by Bo Diddley under the name of his wife at the time, Ethel Smith; it was recorded by Bo and Buddy Holly, among others. The guitar riff was also used by Dave "Baby" Cortez in his 1962 instrumental song " Rinky Dink", also credited to Diddley. Background and recordings At a concert at Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. Mickey and Sylvia heard Jody Williams play a guitar riff that Williams had played on Billy Stewart's debut single "Billy's Blues". A cult following refers to a group of fans who are highly dedicated to some person, idea, object, movement, or work, often an artist, in particular a performing artist, or an artwork in some medium.
