Jonathan Tammuz is a British-Canadian film director, best known for directing the short film ''The Childeater'' and the feature film ''Rupert's Land''. ''The Childeater'' was a shortlisted Academy Award nominee for Best Live Action Short Film at the 62nd Academy Awards,"Eyes for Oscar". Genie Awards
The Genie Awards were given out annually by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television to recognize the best of Canadian cinema from 1980–2012. They succeeded the Canadian Film Awards (1949–1978; also known as the "Etrog Awards," for sculptor Sorel Etrog, who designed the statuette).
