Jonathan Rose
Jonathan Rose (born July 19, 1993) is an American professional gridiron football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Auburn and Nebraska. College career Rose began his college football career at Auburn. He played for Auburn as a freshman in 2011, but was then dismissed from the team for "personal reasons" in July 2012. He signed with Nebraska in August 2012. After sitting out the 2012 season, Rose played for Nebraska from 2013 to 2015. During the 2015 season, Rose was suspended for Nebraska's game against BYU, then was suspended for games against Northwestern and Purdue due to a violation of team rules. In December 2015, Nebraska announced Rose had been dismissed from the team. Defensive Back
In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs. Among the defensive backs, there are two main types, cornerbacks, which play nearer the line of scrimmage and the sideline, whose main role is to cover the opposing team's wide receivers, and the Safety (gridiron football position), safeties, who play further back near the center of the field, and who act as the last line of defense. Rico Murray
Derico "Rico" Murray (born August 21, 1988) is an American former professional gridiron football defensive back and linebacker. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Kent State. He has also been a member of the Edmonton Eskimos, Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Redblacks, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). College career Murray played 47 games in four seasons (2005–08) at Kent State.
