Jonas Olsson is a Finnish music producer, audio engineer and songwriter. He has worked and collaborated with many international acts, producers, and songwriters such as Andreas Carlsson (SWE), Kristinia DeBarge (US), Radical Something (US), Rasmus Thude (DK), and The Ocean (GER). He has also worked on many Finnish acts, including Robin, Jannika B, Poisonblack, Sami Saari, Absoluuttinen Nollapiste, Superscar, Annika Eklund, Deep Insight, Blind Channel and Callisto. Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. The terms ''popular music'' and ''pop music'' are often used interchangeably, although the former describes all music that is popular and includes many disparate styles. Violent Pop
''Violent Pop'' is the third album by Finnish violent pop band Blind Channel, released on 6 March 2020. The first song for the album was the track, "Over My Dead Body", recorded in the summer of 2018. From that moment on, Blind Channel began writing new material. In December 2019, the band announced that the recording of their album had been completed, taking just under a year and a half to finish. Produced by Jonas Olsson, who also worked on the band's two previous albums, ''Revolutions'' and '' Blood Brothers''. In addition, Jakob Hansen, a Danish musician behind the Volbeat hits, also took part in the album's recording. In total, around twenty demos were selected for the album, but only eleven were chosen and ended up in the final release. On 15 January 2020, Blind Channel revealed the album's title, cover art and track list. Blood Brothers (Blind Channel Album)
''Blood Brothers'' is the second album by Finnish rock band Blind Channel. The album was released on 20 April 2018. The recording began after most of the concerts dedicated to supporting the album ''Revolutions''. In December 2017, the group has announced they had finished the recording of the album. The album was produced by Jonas Olsson, who had also worked on the previous album. Reviewed by Musicalypse and KaaoZine, the album received one of the highest ratings for that year, both reviewers giving the album a nine out of ten stars. History The track list for the album included the song "Scream", dedicated to Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, who committed suicide in July 2017. Blind Channel explained this act by the fact that the band was inspired by the work of Linkin Park. ''Revolutions'' is the debut album by Finnish rock band Blind Channel. The album was released on 1 October 2016, with recording starting in October 2015 with the help of Jonas Olsson, and ended a year later. The album consists of 11 songs, one of which is the cover of the song "Don't" by Ed Sheeran. The album received generally positive reviews, with Finnish publications such as Soundi and KaaosZine giving it high praise, among other review sources. Pauli Hanhiniemi
Pauli Hanhiniemi (born 1964) is a Finnish singer, songwriter (composer and lyricist) and musician, who was born in Alavus. Starting his career in 1982, he formed the famous Finnish rock band Kolmas Nainen in 1982. After the break-up of the band in 1994, he formed Pauli Hanhiniemen Perunateatteri that performed until 2005. He later joined Hehkumo, a band with more traditional sound. In 2009, the highly popular Kolmas Nainen returned with two new studio albums and great commercial success. ''Precambrian'' is the fourth studio album by the German metal band The Ocean, released on 5 November 2007 through Metal Blade Records. Noir (Callisto Album)
Callisto is a post-metal band from Turku, Finland. History The band was formed in 2001 in Kokkola. Whilst their early works are hardcore/metalcore, their first album '' True Nature Unfolds'' has a strong sludge metal and doom influence. Recorded in 2004 by the late Mieszko Talarczyk of Nasum fame and introduced to Earache Records a year later through Johannes Persson from Cult of Luna, earning them worldwide distribution. The band's sophomore album '' Noir'', released in 2006, still drawing from modern sludge also introduced subtle jazz leanings, heavy use of mellotron and experimentation with unconventional rock instruments such as the saxophone and the flute.
