Jonas Kondrotas
Jonas Kondrotas (15 August 1943 – 28 January 2022) was a Lithuanian agronomist and politician, member of the Tenth Seimas of Lithuania, 10th (2011–2012) and Eleventh Seimas of Lithuania, 11th (2012–2016) Seimas, member of the Labour Party (Lithuania), Labour Party. Jonas Kondrotas was born in the village of Užgulbinė, Biržai district, Lithuania. In 1971 he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Agriculture. He held the honorary title of Meritorious Lithuanian agronomist. Seimas
The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania ( lt, Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas), or simply the Seimas (), is the unicameral parliament of Lithuania. The Seimas constitutes the legislative branch of government in Lithuania, enacting laws and amendments to the Constitution, passing the budget, confirming the Prime Minister and the Government and controlling their activities. Its 141 members are elected for a four-year term, with 71 elected in individual constituencies, and 70 elected in a nationwide vote based on open list proportional representation. Biržai District
Biržai (, known also by several alternative names) is a town in northern Lithuania. Biržai is famous for its reconstructed Biržai Castle manor, and the whole region is renowned for its many traditional-recipe beer breweries.
