Jon Tvedt
Jon Tvedt (29 June 1966 – 11 January 2009) was a Norwegian orienteering competitor and athlete who specialized in mountain running. He died while still active in his sport. Career Orienteering Tvedt originally competed in orienteering. At the 1993 World Orienteering Championships in West Point, Tvedt competed in three events. He finished fourth in the short distance, jointly with Steven Hale, and eleventh in the classic distance. In the relay he finished sixth together with teammates Rolf Vestre, Håvard Tveite and Petter Thoresen. At the 1995 World Orienteering Championships in Detmold, Tvedt finished eleventh in the short distance, sixth in the classic distance and fourth in the relay together with teammates Petter Thoresen, Håvard Tveite and Bjørnar Valstad. Finally, at the 1999 World Orienteering Championships in Inverness, Tvedt finished eighth in the classic distance. Gullfjellet
Gullfjellet or Gulfjellet is a tall mountain in Vestland county, Norway. It is situated on the border between the municipalities of Bergen and Samnanger, and it is the highest mountain in the municipality of Bergen. The name "Gul" is an old name for a strong wind, so the old name - Gulfjellet - means "the mountain with strong wind". Due to its importance as a hiking attraction, and much bad weather, large and numerous cairns have been put up ("Varderekka") to guide hikers from both sides of the mountain. Hans Martin Gjedrem (born June 6, 1980) is a former Norwegian biathlete. Gjedrem won three medals at the Biathlon Open European Championships. Odd-Bjørn Hjelmeset (born 6 December 1971 in Nordfjordeid) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who competed from 1993 to 2012. A classical technique specialist, Hjelmeset's biggest success is the gold medal in the 50 km event at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships he won eight medals (all in the classical style). This includes five gold medals (50 km: 2007, 4 × 10 km relay: 2001, 2005, 2007, 2009) and three bronze medals (1999: 10 km, 2001: 15 km, and 2005: 50 km). Abderrahim Goumri ( ar, عبد الرحيم الغومري; 21 May 1976 – 19 January 2013 in Temara, Morocco) was a Moroccan long-distance runner. He had competed in cross country, track, road running and marathon races. He spent the early part of his career in Norway and established himself with performances at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, where he helped his nation to team bronze medals at the 2002 and 2003 editions. He reached the 5000 metres track finals at the 2003 World Championships and the 2004 Summer Olympics.
