Jon Reep
Jon Reep (born March 26, 1972) is an American stand-up comedian and actor, known as the "That thing got a Hemi?" guy in Dodge commercials starting in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he played the recurring character Police Officer Gerald Bob in the ABC sitcom '' Rodney''. In 2007, Reep won the fifth season of ''Last Comic Standing'' on NBC. Early life Reep was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina. He has one younger brother, Jason. Their father, David, worked as the manager of a Goodyear store, and a part-time police officer. Their mother, Betty, was a receptionist at a local telephone company, Sprint. Reep was raised as a Baptist. Education Reep attended Fred T. Foard High School in Newton, North Carolina and played football. After graduating high school, Reep began attending Catawba Valley Community College, while working at his father's Goodyear store. Hickory is a city located primarily in Catawba County, with formal boundaries extending into Burke and Caldwell counties. The city lies in the U.S. state of North Carolina. At the time of the 2020 census, Hickory's population was 43,490. Catawba Valley Community College is a public community college in Hickory, North Carolina. The college, established April 3, 1958, is part of the North Carolina Community College System. The main campus covers and includes 16 buildings. ''Premium Blend'' was a stand-up comedy series created and directed by Paul Miller that aired on the American cable television channel Comedy Central from 1997 to 2005. In 2005 the show was changed, and now known as "Live at Gotham". The show was born out of Comedy Central's attempts to find new comedy stars. These "attempts" were $1,000 to $10,000 dollar productions that allowed unnoticed comedians to share their material. Premium Blend acted as a showcase where most of the material and bits were shown. Sir Purr
Sir Purr is the mascot of the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He is an anthropomorphic, anthropomorphized Black panther, panther wearing a Panthers football jersey, No.00. On his page at the Panthers' web site, he describes his favorites snacks as "birds like Atlanta Falcons, falcons and Philadelphia Eagles, eagles and Seattle Seahawks, seahawks." He has a running rivalry with Jaxson de Ville, the mascot of the Jacksonville Jaguars (the Panthers' expansion brethren). Sir Purr also has family that occasionally joins him in games, such as Mini Meow, a younger version of Sir Purr.
