Jon Magrin
Jon "Jimmy" Magrin (formerly known as Wallace; born 8 October 1994) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a prop for the Dewsbury Rams in the Betfred Championship. He has played for both Malta and Jamaica at international level. He played for the London Broncos in the Super League and the Championship, and spent time on loan from the Broncos at the London Skolars in League 1. He also played for the Bradford Bulls in two separate spells in the Championship, spending time on loan from Bradford at the Skolars in the third tier. Background Jonathan Wallace was born in Pieta, Malta. London Broncos Magrin made his début for the London Broncos in the Super League against the Wigan Warriors in 2014. Also, for two seasons he spent time on loan at the London Skolars. Magrin went on to play 60 games for the Broncos during his three years there. The Keighley Cougars are a professional rugby league club from Keighley in West Yorkshire, England who compete in League 1, the third tier of English rugby league. Keighley's home ground, Cougar Park has a capacity of 7,800. History Early years The club was formed at a meeting held on 17 October 1876 under the presidency of the Reverend Marriner. A committee was elected and the club was allowed the use of Holmes' field in Lawkholme Lane. The first kick-off took place on Saturday afternoon, 21 October and the committee met again on 24 October and decided to adopt Association and Rugby football laws. On 18 November 1876, the first game took place at Lawkholme Lane. France National Rugby League Team
The France national rugby league team represent France in international rugby league matches. They are referred to as ''les Chanticleers'' or less commonly as ''les Tricolores''. The team is run under the auspices of the Fédération Française de Rugby à XIII. The French rugby league team first played in 1934 on a tour of England. They have taken part in all World Cups, 16 in total, with the first being held in 1954 in France. They have never won the title but finished runners-up in both 1954 and 1968. These are often considered the glory years of French rugby league as from the 1950s to the 1970s the team were strong and regularly beat Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain.
