Jon Audun Baar
Jon Audun Baar (1986 in Tomter, Hobøl, Norway) is a Norwegian Jazz drummer. Career Baar studied jazz drumming at the Norwegian Academy of Music with teachers like Jon Christensen and Rune Martinsen. He has played on several jazzfestivals in Norway such as Moldejazz, Oslo Jazzfestival and Dølajazz with many different bands and artist. He plays within the critically acclaimed trio Eberson/Baar/Eberson with the international jazz guitar legend Jon Eberson and his daughter the keyboardist Marte Maaland Eberson. Baar is the drummer of the bands Axel Jensen Lucky Three, Ambush, Malmfrid Hallum Band, Pedersen/Myhr/Baar Trio and Pixel including the front figure double bassist and vocalist Ellen Andrea Wang, trumpeter Jonas Kilmork Vemøy and saxophonist Harald Lassen, noted as "one of the most memorable moments" of the Match and Fuse Festival, by the Jazz magazine Down Beat. Tomter
Tomter is a village in Indre Østfold municipality in the county of Viken, Norway. As of 2022, Tomter has 2108 inhabitants. It is the largest village in the former Hobøl municipality, now part of Indre Østfold. Tomter is situated approximately 40 kilometres south of Norway's capital, Oslo, and approximately 15 kilometres northwest of the biggest city in Indre Østfold, Askim. Oslo is easily reached with a 40 minute train ride from Tomter Station. Tomter is one of five villages and cities in Indre Østfold municipality. The others being: Spydeberg, Skjønhaug, Mysen and Askim. Tomter's population has been increasing heavily the last few years, because of its close proximity to the capital, and train station. Axel Jensen
Axel Buchardt Jensen (12 February 1932 – 13 February 2003) was a Norwegian author. From 1957 until 2002, he published both fiction and non-fiction texts which include novels, poems, essays, a biography, and manuscripts for cartoons and animated films. Biography Jensen was born on 12 February 1932 in Trondheim to Dagny Teodora (née Buchardt, 1908- 2000) and Finn Reidar Jensen (1901-1967). His father owned a sausage factory, ''Axel Jensens fabrikker'', in Oslo. His parents later divorced. His father's second marriage produced two sons. Jensen completed three years of high school but only lasted a couple of days at university as he didn't like the quiet polite lectures and so gave it up. He then undertook a number of labouring jobs, while writing in his spare time. Harald Lassen (born 13 March 1987 in Kristiansand, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician, composer and band leader. Besides leading his own band LASSEN, he has also been a part of bands such as Pixel, Mopti (feat. Bendik Baksaas on the album ''Bits & Pieces''), No. 4, Dr. Kay And His Interstellar Tone Scientists and DUPLEX. He was picked up at an early age by legendary musicians such as bass player Arild Andersen and drummer Jon Christensen.
