Jolanda Neff (born 5 January 1993) is a Swiss cyclist, who primarily rides in the cross-country cycling and cyclo-cross disciplines, for the Trek Factory Racing team. She won the gold medal in the women's cross-country event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career She was the overall winner of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in 2014 and 2015. She was triple Under-23 Mountain Bike World Champion (2012, 2013 and 2014). At the 2017 UCI World Championships in Cairns she became the elite world champion. In June 2015, she won the first gold medal for Switzerland in the women's cross country event at the European Games in Baku. Jolanda de Rover (born 10 October 1963) is a female former backstroke swimmer from the Netherlands. Swimming career Jolanda de Rover competed at the 1980, 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics and won a gold and a bronze medal in backstroke in 1984. In 1988, she finished fifth and seventh in the 4 × 100 m medley relay and 200 m backstroke events, respectively. Between 1981 and 1986 she won four medals at European and world championships; she also won at least three national titles and set at least 10 national records in backstroke events. Jolanda Felicia Jones (born November 6, 1965) is an American attorney, politician, and television personality, as well as a former city councilor and heptathlete. Jones is currently a member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing the 147th district. She was sworn in on May 18, 2022. Early life and education Jones, the oldest of five children, was born to John Ferrell Jones and Gwendolyn Jean West and raised in Houston's Third Ward. During her childhood, she lost her father, brother, and immediate family members to either suicide or murder. Jolanda Insana (18 May 1937 – 27 October 2016) was an Italian poet and translator. Born in Messina, in 1968 Insana moved to Rome where she graduated in Ancient Literature with a thesis on Erinna's ''The Distaff''. Active as translator of classical and contemporary authors, she debuted as a poet in 1977, with the collection ''Sciarra amara'' ("Bitter Harvest"). Jolanda Batagelj (previously known as Jolanda Čeplak until 2002, born Jolanda Steblovnik on September 12, 1976) is a Slovenian middle distance athlete. She was born in Celje and lived in Velenje until briefly moving to Monaco. She has lived in Celje since. Running career In her early career, she did not specialise, and ran at many distances.
