Joinville Esporte Clube, JEC or simply Joinville, is a Brazilian football team from Joinville in Santa Catarina . Founded on January 29, 1976 they have won the Série B and Série C once and they have the largest sequence of consecutive state titles, eight (1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985). Joinville is the third most successful club in Santa Catarina in terms of state championship titles (12), behind Avaí (16) and Figueirense (17). History Joinville was founded on January 29, 1976, after América-SC football department and Caxias football department fused. The club's Golden Age was in the 1980s, when the club won eight state championships in a row. Joinville's largest win was on October 31, 1976, when the club beat Ipiranga of Tangará 11–1 at Estádio Municipal de Tangará. Arena Joinville
Arena Joinville is a multi-use stadium located in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It hosts football matches as well as Brazilian and international shows. The stadium is used mainly for football matches and hosts the home matches of Joinville Esporte Clube. It is located at Bucarein neighborhood, near Boa Vista and Guanabara neighborhoods. Arena Joinville is one of the Brazil's most modern football stadiums, and its design is inspired by European football arenas, such as the Amsterdam ArenA. The stadium is owned by the Joinville City Hall. History Arena Joinville was inaugurated on September 25, 2004. The stadium's inaugural match was a friendly match, played on that day, when Masters All-Stars beat All-Stars of Joinville 3-1. The first stadium goal was scored by Masters' player Donizete Pantera. Recopa Sul-Brasileira 2009
The 2009 Recopa Sul-Brasileira was the 3rd staging of this Brazilian football knockout competition. All matches of the competition were played at Estádio Municipal Domenico Paolo Metidieri, Votorantim, São Paulo. Four clubs participated of the competition: Porto Alegre, of Rio Grande do Sul (runner-up of Copa Arthur Dellagrave), Serrano Centro-Sul of Paraná (champion of Campeonato Paranense Second Level), Votoraty of São Paulo (champion of Copa Paulista de Futebol), and Joinville of Santa Catarina (champion of Copa Santa Catarina). Prize money The winner of the competition was awarded a prize money amount of R$30,000, and the runner-up was awarded a prize money amount of R$10,000. Fabiano Eller dos Santos, known as Fabiano Eller (born 19 November 1977 in Linhares), is a Brazilian former footballer who last played as a central defender for Náutico. In the 2006 season, he played for Internacional while on loan from Turkish giants Trabzonspor.
