Johnny Hunt (footballer)
John Hunt (born 23 August 1990) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays for Bootle as a left-back. Hunt started his career known as ‘Fowler’ in St Francis De Sales School Infants and Junior School in Walton, Liverpool. He then progressed through the youth academy at Wrexham before making his first-team debut towards the end of the 2009–10 season. He spent five seasons at Wrexham, during his time there he scored the winning penalty in the 2013 FA Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium. In June 2014, Hunt joined League Two club Cambridge United, although returned to Wrexham on loan one month into the 2014–15 campaign. He left the Cambridge by mutual consent in June 2015 and immediately signed for National League club Chester, where he played regularly for two years. Hunt spent the 2017–18 season at Mansfield Town, before being transfer-listed at the end of the campaign. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. This covers the National League, the Southern League, Isthmian League, and Northern Premier League. Luton () is a town and unitary authority with borough status, in Bedfordshire, England. The 2011–12 Football Conference season was the eighth season in which the Football Conference consisted of three divisions and the thirty-third season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, whilst the Conference North and Conference South exist at the sixth level.
