Johnny Gibbs
John Gibbs (born 16 May 1956) is an Australian radio personality and former rugby league footballer. A New South Wales state and Australia national representative half back of the 1970s and 1980s, he played his club football with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. Gibbs spent 2012 as a presenter on ''NRL Daily'' and was also the host of Sydney radio station 2UE's ''Sports Today'' program, and has appeared regularly on '' The Footy Show''. He was also previously a member of the Gibbs-Hadley Continuous Call Team. Gibbs and fellow commentator Darryl Brohman were successfully head-hunted from radio 2UE after the 1999 NRL season and both then spear-headed the successful 2GB rugby league radio coverage from the beginning of the 2000 season, along with Jon Harker. Manly, New South Wales
Manly is a beach-side suburb of northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Test Match (rugby League)
A test match in rugby league football is a representative match between teams representing members of the Rugby League International Federation. The definition of a test match differs from that of an international match. An international match can be played "between senior/open age or restricted age-level teams from different countries". Recognition Members of the international governing body can make their own recognition of a match as having test status. It is possible for a match to be considered a test by one side but not the other. Matches may also be given test status retrospectively by their governing bodies. A notable instance of a different in opinions of the status of past matches is a consequence of the Super League war. Luke Lewis
Luke Lewis (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian rugby league commentator and former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League (NRL) and Australia at international level. He played for the Penrith Panthers between 2001 and 2012, winning the 2003 NRL Premiership with them. He played at representative level for the City Origin side, New South Wales and the NRL All Stars. A versatile player, Lewis played (but not necessarily started) in every position in first grade football. Northern Beaches
The Northern Beaches is a region within Northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, near the Pacific coast. This area extends south to the entrance of Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour), west to Middle Harbour and north to the entrance of Broken Bay. Paul Vautin
Paul Vautin (born 21 July 1959) nicknamed Fatty, is an Australian football commentator and formerly a professional rugby league footballer, captain and coach. He has provided commentary for the Nine Network's coverage of rugby league since joining the network in 1992 and also hosted '' The Footy Show'' from its beginnings in 1994 opposite co-host Peter Sterling, until 2017.
