Gentle Friendly
Gentle Friendly are an English, London-based band, consisting of David Maurice (vocals, keyboards) and Richard Manber (drums, keyboards). They play explosive music that was described as "kaleidoscopic claustrophonics" and "as arresting as it was evasive". Gentle Friendly formed in 2007 whilst David attended university in London. Morris found a drunk kit in a skip along with a large amount of high quality coffee and after several caffeine-fueled sessions in his basement the pair began to play live. Early lo-fi basement recordings were sold at shows on home-made cdrs and released on the ''Esses Together/Blast Debris (Debris from Blasts Had 1968 - 2008) '' cassette by Stop Scratching in October 2008. The following month No Pain In Pop released the ''Night Tape'' EP, recorded in a remote cottage on the Wales/Shropshire border, on 7". Their debut record, ''Ride Slow'', was released by Upset The Rhythm Upset The Rhythm is an independent record label based in London with a varied ro ...

Records, and on Double Vinyl LP in Summer 2012. The record marked their first studio album to be released without the aid of a Grammy-nominated producer (Machine producing their first record, Alex Newport producing their second); as well as their first studio album not released on Best Before Records. The album cover, as with their other albums, features drawings by Lewes Herriot. The album was assigned a Metacritic rating of 66, indicating "generally favourable reviews". Some controversy arose when the NME ''New Musical Express'' (''NME'') is a British music, film, gaming, and culture website and brand. Frisbee
A frisbee (pronounced ), also called a flying disc or simply a disc, is a gliding toy or sporting item that is generally made of injection-molded plastic and roughly in diameter with a pronounced lip. It is used recreationally and competitively for throwing and catching, as in flying disc games. The shape of the disc is an airfoil in cross-section which allows it to fly by reducing the drag and increasing lift as it moves through the air, compared to a flat plate. Spinning the disc imparts a stabilizing gyroscopic force, allowing it to be both aimed with accuracy and thrown for distance. A wide range is available of flying disc variants. Those for disc golf are usually smaller but denser and tailored for particular flight profiles to increase or decrease stability and distance. The longest recorded disc throw is by David Wiggins Jr. with a distance of . Disc dog sports use relatively slow-flying discs made of more pliable material to better resist a dog's bite and prevent in ...

Certain Songs Are Cursed
Certainty (also known as epistemic certainty or objective certainty) is the epistemic property of beliefs which a person has no rational grounds for doubting. One standard way of defining epistemic certainty is that a belief is certain if and only if the person holding that belief could not be mistaken in holding that belief. Other common definitions of certainty involve the indubitable nature of such beliefs or define certainty as a property of those beliefs with the greatest possible justification. Certainty is closely related to knowledge, although contemporary philosophers tend to treat knowledge as having lower requirements than certainty. Importantly, epistemic certainty is not the same thing as psychological certainty (also known as subjective certainty or certitude), which describes the highest degree to which a person could be convinced that something is true. While a person may be completely convinced that a particular belief is true, and might even be psychologically ...

The Bowery Ballroom holds something of a cult status among musicians as well as audiences. ''Rolling Stone'' magazine has awarded it #1 Best Club in America. A detailed scholarly account of the venue and its place in the wider music and cultural history of New York City was published in 2020. Formed in 1996, the band comprises singer and guitarist Nick Krill, singer and bassist Thomas Hughes, drummer Jeffrey Hobson, keyboardist Sam Hughes, and guitarist Joey Hobson. They originally released music on their own label, Spintonic Recordings. Biography The Spinto Band was originally formed as recording project by college students in Wilmington, Delaware in 1996. Describing the early years of the band: "Every other band we knew back then would play in their garage and do the live thing. They’d do a bunch of concerts, then go, ‘Oh man, we’ve gotta record now?’ But we just had this crap in the basement and all we’d do was record, so we had 20 90-minute tapes full of junk before we played our first show." After several rel ...
