Johnny Dee (born November 4, 1992) is an American basketball player who last played for MoraBanc Andorra of the LEB Oro. He played college basketball for the San Diego Toreros. Early life Johnny Dee was born on November 4, 1992, in Denver, Colorado, US. Dee's grandfather, Don Dee, played for the Indiana Pacers and was on the U.S. 1968 Olympic gold-medal-winning basketball team. His father, Donnie Dee, played for the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL for two seasons, while his mother, Jackie, was on the cross country team at the University of Tulsa. He has a younger sister Jenny who played basketball at UC Irvine. Johnny Dee was a part of the Rancho Buena Vista Little League All-Star team that advanced to the 2005 Little League World Series, playing shortstop. San Diego Toreros Men's Basketball
The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The team played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2008. The Toreros play their home games in the Jenny Craig Pavilion, and their head coach is Steve Lavin. Bill Grier
William Theodore Grier (born October 19, 1963) is an American college basketball coach. He is currently an assistant coach at the University of Colorado and was formerly the head men's basketball coach at the University of San Diego. Early career Grier was born in Silverton, Oregon, and he attended Cottage Grove High School in Cottage Grove, Oregon. He began coaching freshman basketball at his alma mater in 1986. He left to attend Central Oregon Community College and Southwestern Oregon Community College, where he played basketball, before earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon in 1990. In organized sports, point shaving is a type of match fixing where the perpetrators try to change the final score of a game without changing who wins. This is typically done by players colluding with gamblers to prevent a team from covering a published spread betting, point spread, where gamblers bet on the margin of victory. The practice of shaving points is illegal in some countries, and stiff penalties are imposed for those caught and convicted, including jail time. 2005 Little League World Series
The 2005 Little League World Series took place between August 19 and August 28 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The West Oahu Little League of ʻEwa Beach, Hawaii, defeated the defending champion Pabao Little League of Willemstad, Curaçao, in the championship game of the 59th Little League World Series.
