Johnny Darrell is a Canadian television director and writer. He is most noted for his work on the television series ''Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs'', for which he and Andrew Duncan received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Direction in an Animated Program or Series at the 6th Canadian Screen Awards in 2018, and as a cowriter with Duncan and Loretta Todd of the screenplay for the film ''Monkey Beach'', for which they received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards in 2021. ''Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs'' (also known as ''Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: The Series'') is an animated television series developed by Mark Evestaff and Alex Galatis for Cartoon Network and YTV. ''Storm Hawks'' is an animated television series created by Asaph A. Fipke and was produced by Nerd Corps Entertainment. It premiered on YTV in Canada on September 8, 2007, and on Cartoon Network in the United States on May 25, 2007. Reruns formerly aired on Family CHRGD and Nickelodeon Canada. Plot ''Storm Hawks'' is set on a fictional world called Atmos, a largely mountainous world consisting of scattered, towering, plateau-like land masses known as terras.
