Johnny Budz
Johnny Budz (born in New Jersey) is an American DJ, producer and remixer. He is one of the most recognizable DJs in the Tri-state holding residencies at D'Jais, Surf Club, Webster Hall, Joey's, DNA, Rise, and many many more. He also owns and operates one of the largest and most successful DJ entertainment companies Elite Sound Entertainment. For over 20 years he's been heard on radio and satellite channels across the United States on Sirius XM's Channel BPM ( BPM), 103.5 WKTU, Pulse 87, Music Choice TV, and other radio stations. He was one of the first mix show DJs to appear on NYC's WKTU and was a staple on the station from 1996 - 2009. He has remixed for the likes of Janet Jackson, Jessica Simpson, Ciara, Kim Sozzi, INXS, and many more and has released 9 commercial mixed CDs. Roc Project
The Roc Project is an American electronica act, composed of the New York City-based DJ Ray Roc and, most often, the vocalist Tina Novak. Their debut single, "Never (Past Tense)" was released in 2003. However, because of difficulty getting the song released due to Novak and Roc being signed to different record labels, Ray Roc decided to recruit the Australian singer Tina Arena to sing Novak's vocals instead. Arena's version of "Never (Past Tense)" was therefore the single release. It became a major club and dance radio hit in America, and even managed to peak at No. 97 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. "Popular" (stylized as "Pop!ular") is a song from Australian singer-songwriter Darren Hayes' second solo album, '' The Tension and the Spark'' (2004). The lyrics are a tongue-in-cheek send-up of celebrities and wannabes. A radio edit was made which omits the instrumental section after the second chorus and also adds several new drumbeats to the second verse. The song was released in Australia on 12 July 2004. Along with " Insatiable", "Pop!ular" is Hayes' highest-charting solo single in Australia, peaking at number three on the ARIA Singles Chart. In the United States, the song reached the top of the '' Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart in March 2005, becoming Hayes' first single to top the chart as either a solo artist or with his former group, Savage Garden. Scissor Sisters
Scissor Sisters were an American pop rock band formed in 2001. Its members include Jake Shears and Ana Matronic as vocalists, Babydaddy as multi-instrumentalist, Del Marquis as lead guitar/bassist, and Randy Real (who replaced Paddy Boom) as drummer.
