John Wolf (diplomat)
John Stern Wolf (born 1948) served as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State from 1970–2004, including tours as Ambassador to Malaysia, Assistant Secretary for Nonproliferation, and Chief Monitor, The Middle East Roadmap for Peace. He retired in July 2014 as President of Eisenhower Fellowships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Career Department of State Wolf served with the Department of State, entering as a Foreign Service Officer in 1970. He became Assistant Secretary for Nonproliferation on September 26, 2001. Concurrently, in June 2003, President George W. Bush appointed him as Chief, U.S. Coordination and Monitoring Mission for the Roadmap for Peace in the Middle East. Prior to these appointments, Wolf served from 1999–2000 as Special Adviser to the President and Secretary of State for Caspian Basin Energy Diplomacy. John Baptist Wolf
John Baptist Wolf (July 16, 1907 – April 22, 1996) was an American historian, specializing in modern European history. Life Born in Ouray, Colorado, on July 16, 1907, Wolf was the son of a German immigrant. Wolf received his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Colorado, then attended Northwestern University, before entering the doctoral program at the University of Minnesota. He received his doctorate in 1934 for a dissertation on the diplomatic history of the Baghdad Railway, published in 1936. Wolf began his teaching career at the University of Missouri in 1934, remaining there until 1943, when he took a position at the University of Minnesota. In 1966 he moved to the University of Illinois, Chicago Circle, retiring in 1974 as professor emeritus. Wolf died of leukemia on April 22, 1996 while living in a retirement community located near Syracuse. John Bryn Williams (born 1977), known as John B, is an English disc jockey and electronic music producer. He is widely recognised for his eccentric clothing and wild hair and his production of several cutting edge drum and bass tracks. John B ranked number 76 in ''DJ Magazine''s 2010 Top 100 DJs annual poll, announced on 27 October 2010. Career Williams was born on 12 July 1977 in Maidenhead, Berkshire. He started producing music around the age of 14, and now is the head of drum and bass record label Beta Recordings, together with its more specialist drum and bass sub-labels Nu Electro, Tangent, and Chihuahua. John Quincy Wolf Jr. (May 14, 1901 – March 14, 1972) was an American folklorist and college professor. He created the John Quincy Wolf Folklore Collection including Sacred Harp singings and Memphis blues. He transcribed and did field recordings in the Ozarks, "discovering" several notable musicians including Almeda Riddle, Ollie Gilbert, and Jimmy Driftwood. He also recorded Bukka White, Gus Cannon, and Furry Lewis. His father, John Quincy Wolf Sr. (1864–1949) was born near Calico Rock, Arkansas. Stories from his life were collected and published as ''Life in the Leatherwoods''. Wolf Jr. went to Johns Hopkins University. He corresponded with H. L.
