John Varah Long
John Varah Long (28 September 1826, in Wickersley, England – 14 April 1869) was a clerk for Brigham Young, the first governor of Utah Territory and the second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as LDS Church). Wickersley
Wickersley is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham in South Yorkshire, England, situated from the centre of Rotherham. The area is very near to road junctions for the M1, M18 and A1(M) (passing through Bramley, Rotherham). It is home to the secondary school and sixth form, Wickersley School and Sports College. Brigham Young
Brigham Young (; June 1, 1801August 29, 1877) was an American religious leader and politician. He was the second President of the Church (LDS Church), president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), from 1847 until his death in 1877. During his time as church president, Young led his followers, the Mormon pioneers, west from Nauvoo, Illinois, to the Salt Lake Valley.
