John Tsatsimas
John Tsatsimas is the current Chief Executive Officer of Western Sydney Wanderers. Career In 2005, Tsatsimas joined Newcastle Jets as the club's legal councilor, before spending four seasons as chief executive officer. After helping the transition in ownership from Con Constantine to Nathan Tinkler and the Hunter Sports Group in September 2010, Tsatsimas resigned to spend more time with his family. In June 2012, Tsatsimas was appointed general manager at Western Sydney Wanderers. Following the sale of Western Sydney Wanderers, the new owners announced Tsatsimas as the club's first CEO on 4 June 2014. Newcastle United Jets Football Club, commonly known as Newcastle Jets, is an Australian professional soccer club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. Con Constantine
Con Constantine (born 1 July 1945) is a Cypriot Australian businessman and the former owner of the Australian football (soccer) club Newcastle United Jets. Biography Early life Con Constantine migrated to Australia with his parents and siblings from the town of Maroni, near Larnaka, Cyprus at the age of 10. At a young age, he started working in a takeaway food store before going on to sell houseplants. In 1985, he built Parklea Markets (on the site of a former drive-in cinema), initially operating it as a plant nursery while seeking council approval. After approval was granted, Parklea Markets quickly established itself as one of the premier retail destinations in Western Sydney. In recent years, Constantine has expanded his interests to Newcastle, 150 km north of Sydney, where he is the owner of ''The Store''. Nathan Tinkler
Nathan Tinkler (born 1 February 1976) is an Australian mining industry executive and was previously the principal shareholder of Aston Resources and Whitehaven Coal. He started out as a mining apprentice in the Hunter Valley, in New South Wales and set up his own business at age 26. Much of his wealth was acquired from investments in the mining industry. Biography Tinkler qualified as an electrician at the Muswellbrook TAFE and commenced his involvement in the coal industry as an apprentice electrical fitter for Bayswater Coal. At aged 26, he started his own mine machinery maintenance business called Custom Mining. In 2006, Tinkler paid a $1 million deposit to buy the Middlemount coal mine in Central Queensland. A year later, he sold his Middlemount stake to Macarthur Coal for $275 million with the payment largely in shares. In May 2008 Tinkler sold his Macarthur shares for A$422 million in cash.
