John T. Hoggard High School is a public high school in the New Hanover County School System in Wilmington, North Carolina. Naming John T. Hoggard is the eponym for Hoggard High School. Hoggard had an active career in education, beginning with his election as Chairman of the New Hanover County (NC) Board of Education in 1935, and ending with his death in 1965. His private papers are kept in the Manuscript Collection at the University of North Carolina—Wilmington. Athletics Hoggard High School fields 25 varsity and junior varsity teams across 13 sports. All teams compete in the Mideastern 3A/4A Conference as part of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association. The school mascot is the Viking, and the primary colors are blue and white. Robert McLean Boyd Jr. (July 29, 1955 – February 21, 2011) was an American professional golfer. Career Boyd was born in Mount Olive, North Carolina. He played his college golf at (and graduated from) the University of Maryland. He turned professional in 1977. Boyd spent 1983 PGA Tour, 1983 and 1984 PGA Tour, 1984 on the PGA Tour. Miss USA 2009
Miss USA 2009 was the 58th Miss USA pageant, held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19, 2009. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Kristen Dalton of North Carolina was crowned by outgoing titleholder Crystle Stewart of Texas. The event was hosted by Billy Bush of Access Hollywood and actress Nadine Velazquez; Bush returned to host the pageant which he last emceed in 2005. Jonathan Javell Cooper (born January 19, 1990) is a former American football guard. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals seventh overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. He played college football at North Carolina, where he earned All-American honors.
