John Ryan (New South Wales Politician)
John Francis Ryan (born 20 September 1956) is a former Australian politician. He was a Liberal Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1991 to 2007. He was the Liberal Deputy Leader in the Legislative Council from 2003 to 2007. Background John Ryan was born in Canada, and migrated to Australia in 1961, attended Canterbury Boys High School. He came from a disadvantaged background. As a teenager he lived in an Anglican boys' home, during the 1970s. He studied teaching at the University of Sydney, worked as a high school teacher in English and History and as a senior research officer for former Liberal minister Ted Pickering prior to his election to parliament. Patricia Forsythe
Patricia Forsythe (born 1 March 1952) is an Australian politician and diplomat who was the Australian High Commissioner to New Zealand from March 2019 to March 2022. She was previously the Executive Director of the Sydney Business Chamber since September 2006. Prior to her appointment to the Chamber, she was a member of the Legislative Council of New South Wales representing the Liberal Party between 1991 and 2006. Ronald Sackville is the Chair of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability. He is a former acting judge of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and also a former judge of the Federal Court of Australia. Mark Latham
Mark William Latham (born 28 February 1961) is an Australian politician and media commentator, currently serving as a member in the New South Wales Legislative Council. He previously served as the leader of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and leader of the opposition from December 2003 to January 2005, leading the party to defeat at the 2004 federal election. Charlie John Stuart Lynn (born 14 January 1945, in Orbost, Victoria) is an Australian former politician who served as a Liberal Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council between 1995 and 2015.
