John Moore (born 1 October 1966) is an English-born retired Hong Kong association football, footballer. A Forward (association football), striker, Moore has played professionally in England, Wales, the Netherlands and Hong Kong. Career Born in Stanley, County Durham, Stanley, Moore began his career with Sunderland A.F.C., Sunderland in 1984. While at Sunderland, Moore spent loan spells at St Patrick's Athletic F.C., St Patrick's Athletic, Newport County A.F.C., Newport County, Darlington F.C., Darlington, Mansfield Town F.C., Mansfield Town and Rochdale A.F.C., Rochdale. Moore then played in the Football League for Hull City A.F.C., Hull City and Sheffield United F.C., Sheffield United before moving to the Netherlands to play with FC Utrecht. After a year abroad, Moore returned to England, playing with Shrewsbury Town F.C., Shrewsbury Town, Crewe Alexandra F.C., Crewe Alexandra and Scarborough F.C., Scarborough. Consett
Consett is a town in County Durham, England, about south-west of Newcastle upon Tyne. It had a population of 27,394 in 2001 and an estimate of 25,812 in 2019. History Consett sits high on the edge of the Pennines. Its' name originates in the Old English ''Cunecsheafod'' ("Cunec's headland"), first recorded in the 13th century. In 1841, it was a village community of only 145, but it was about to become a boom town: below the ground were coking coal and blackband iron ore, and nearby was limestone. These three ingredients were needed for blast furnaces to produce iron and steel.
