John Maurice Kelly (31 August 1931 – 24 January 1991) was an Irish Fine Gael politician who served as Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism from 1981 to 1982, acting Minister for Foreign Affairs (Ireland), Minister for Foreign Affairs from June 1981 to October 1981, Attorney General of Ireland, Attorney General from May 1977 to July 1977 and Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach, Government Chief Whip from 1973 to 1977. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South-Central (Dáil constituency), Dublin South-Central from 1973 to 1977 and for Dublin South (Dáil constituency), Dublin South from 1977 to 1989. He was a Seanad Éireann, Senator for the Cultural and Educational Panel from 1969 to 1973. Dublin County South was a parliamentary constituency represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas from 1969 to 1981. The constituency elected 3 deputies ( Teachtaí Dála, commonly known as TDs) to the Dáil, using proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote (PR-STV).
