John Landau
John A. Landau was a member of the Rhodesian parliament, Rhodesian Parliament who served as the Chief Scout (Scouting), Chief Scout of the Scout Association of Rhodesia, which has since become the Scout Association of Zimbabwe. In 1975, he was head of the Rhodesian contingent at the 14th World Scout Jamboree in Norway. History In 1966, Landau was the President of the Rhodesian Baseball and Softball League. The Bronze Wolf Award is bestowed by the World Scout Committee (WSC) to acknowledge "outstanding service by an individual to the World Scout Movement". It is the highest honor that can be given a volunteer Scout leader in the world and it is the only award given by the WSC. Since the award's creation in 1935, fewer than 400 of the several millions of Scouts throughout the world have received the award. The Africa Scout Region is the divisional office of the World Scout Bureau of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with satellite offices in Cape Town, South Africa, and Dakar, Senegal.
