John Lambe (M5 Rapist)
John Lambe (born 1944 in Fordingbridge, Hampshire) otherwise known as the M5 rapist is a British serial rapist who worked as a builder and lorry driver. From 1975 until his arrest in 1980, he was responsible for a string of sex attacks on women aged between 15–74 in the Bristol and Taunton Taunton () is the county town of Somerset, England, with a 2011 population of 69,570. Fordingbridge is a town and broader civil parish with a population of 6,000 on the River Avon in the New Forest District of Hampshire, England, near the Dorset and Wiltshire borders and on the edge of the New Forest, famed for its late medieval seven-arch bridge.
