John Kirkby (bishop Of Ely)
John Kirkby (died 26 March 1290) was an English ecclesiastic and statesman. Life Kirkby first appears in the historical record in the chancery during the reign of King Henry III of England. John Kirkby (footballer)
John Kirkby (29 November 1929 – 4 April 1953) was an American soccer player who played in the Football League for Stoke City and Wrexham. Career Kirkby became Stoke City's first overseas player, having been born in the United States, when he played his only game for Stoke against Middlesbrough in April 1949. He joined Wrexham in 1951. Hampshire was a county constituency of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, which returned two Knights of the Shire (Members of Parliament) to the House of Commons from 1295 until 1832. (Officially the name was The County of Southampton, and it was occasionally referred to as Southamptonshire.) History The constituency consisted of the historic county of Hampshire, including the Isle of Wight.
