John Twelve Hawks
John Twelve Hawks is the pseudonym of an author of four novels and one short non-fiction book. His legal name and identity are unknown. His first published novel was the dystopian '' The Traveler'' and its sequels, '' The Dark River'' and '' The Golden City'', collectively comprising the Fourth Realm Trilogy. The trilogy has been translated into 25 languages and has sold more than 1.5 million books. The trilogy was followed five years later by a fourth book, ''Spark'', and a non-fiction eBook, ''Against Authority.'' Biography In the sources listed and in his interviews, he has stated that he was born in the United States. In the non-fiction ''Against Authority'', Twelve Hawks wrote that he grew up in the 1950s. John Hawks ( – February 16, 1790) was a British-born American architect remembered as the dominant force in North Carolinian architecture for two decades, and a major designer of some of New Bern's most notable structures. He also served as the first auditor of North Carolina from 1784 until his death. Biography Hawks was born in England, c. 1731. He died at New Bern, North Carolina, on February 16, 1790. John Milton Hawks
John Milton Hawks (November 26, 1826 – April 2, 1910) was an abolitionist, surgeon and organizer for the assistance of freed blacks and black soldiers during the U.S. Civil War as well as a businessman and Florida settler in Volusia County. During Reconstruction he was secretary of the board of registration for Volusia County. He was also clerk of the Florida House of Representatives from 1868 to 1870. A plaque in his honor is located at the Edgewater City Hall at 104 North Riverside Drive in Edgewater, Florida.John Milton Hawks
