John Francis Eisold
John Francis Eisold (born October 21, 1946) was the attending physician of the United States Capitol from 1994 to 2009. Eisold holds the rank of rear admiral in the United States Navy. Early life and education Eisold was born in Cleveland and raised in Baltimore, graduating from Towson High School in 1964. He earned a bachelor's degree in physics from Dartmouth College in 1968 and was commissioned in the Navy. Returning to school, he graduated from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in 1976 and did his postgraduate training at the National Naval Medical Center Program specializing in general internal medicine and geriatric medicine. Career Prior to his appointment as Attending Physician of the United States Congress, Eisold was assigned to the National Naval Medical Center from 1988 to 1994. Timothy Peter Johnson (born December 28, 1946) is a retired American lawyer and politician who served as a United States senator from South Dakota from 1997 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the United States representative for from 1987 to 1997 and in the state legislature from 1979 to 1987. Arlington National Cemetery
Arlington National Cemetery is one of two national cemeteries run by the United States Army. Nearly 400,000 people are buried in its 639 acres (259 ha) in Arlington, Virginia. There are about 30 funerals conducted on weekdays and 7 held on Saturday. The other Army cemetery is in Washington, D.C. and is called the U.S. Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery. __NOTOC__ The Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) is a military award presented to members of the United States Armed Forces who distinguished themselves by outstanding meritorious achievement or service to the United States subsequent to January 16, 1969. The MSM was previously awarded as a decoration for achievement during peacetime, but effective September 11, 2001 this decoration may also be bestowed in lieu of the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in a designated combat theater.
