John Eren
John Hamdi Eren (born 15 March 1964) is an Australian politician. He has been a Labor Party member of the Parliament of Victoria since 2002, representing Geelong Province in the Legislative Council from 2002 to 2006, and Lara in the Legislative Assembly since 2006. Eren was the Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Minister for Sport and Minister for Veterans' Affairs in the First Andrews Ministry between December 2014 and December 2018. Early years Eren was born in İzmir, Turkey. He came to Australia with his family (Father was a skilled migrant; fitter and turner) in 1970 and studied at a high school in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Prior to entering Parliament, Eren worked in a variety of fields with the most prominent being on the assembly line at Ford in Geelong. Robin Scott (Victorian Politician)
Robin David Scott (born 23 January 1973) is a former Australian politician. He was a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly between 2006 and 2022, representing the seat of Preston. Early life Scott was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and received a Bachelor of Arts majoring in politics from La Trobe University. Scott was later hired in 1996 as an electorate officer, with Scott becoming secretary of the party's Preston branch. Political career In 2006, Robin Scott was selected as the Labor candidate for Preston, a safe seat being vacated by sitting member Michael Leighton. Scott has represented the seat since. Damian Kevin Drum (born 28 July 1960) is an Australian politician who has represented Murray and Nicholls in the Australian House of Representatives since the 2016 federal election as a member of The Nationals. Drum served as the Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister in the Second Turnbull Ministry between 20 December 2017 and 5 March 2018. Drum is a former member for the North Western Province, and later the Northern Victoria Region, in the Legislative Council of Victoria between 2002 and 2016. Drum served as the Victorian Minister for Sports and Veterans Affairs in the Napthine Ministry from March to December 2014. He is also a former Australian rules footballer and coach, most notably as senior coach of the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League from 1999 to 2001.
