John A. Catsimatidis Jr. is the president and chief operating officer of Red Apple Group; a $7 billion conglomerate with operations in energy, supermarkets, media, real estate, and investments. He was formerly executive vice president and chief investment officer. Red Apple Group was founded by his father, John Catsimatidis, John A. Catsimatidis. Early life and education Catsimatidis attended New York University, majoring in finance and management and graduated in 2015. While attending, Catsimatidis was the president of his university's College Republicans chapter. From February 2014 to April 2016, he was the chairman of the New York Federation of College Republicans. John A. Catsimatidis (born September 7, 1948) is an American billionaire businessman and radio talk show host. He is the owner, president, chairman, and CEO of Gristedes Foods, a grocery chain in Manhattan, and the Red Apple Group, a real estate and aviation company with about $2 billion in holdings in New York, Florida and Pennsylvania. He is also the chairman and CEO of the Red Apple Group subsidiary United Refining Company. Every Sunday morning Catsimatidis hosts the talk-radio show ''The Cats Roundtable'', on WABC radio. He also hosts the ''Cats at Night'' podcast on the same radio; from Monday to Friday. In 2019 he acquired WABC. The 2016 Republican National Convention, in which delegates of the United States Republican Party chose the party's nominees for president and vice president in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, was held July 18–21, 2016, at Quicken Loans Arena (now Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse) in Cleveland, Ohio. The event marked the third time Cleveland has hosted the Republican National Convention and the first since 1936. Robert Patrick Astorino (born May 3, 1967) is an American politician, radio producer and television host who was the county executive of Westchester County, New York from 2010 to 2017. He was the Republican nominee for Governor of New York in 2014.
