John Breslin
John Breslin ( ga, Seán Ó Breisleáin; born 1973 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish engineer and full professor at the University of Galway. He is co-founder of the Irish websites boards.ie and adverts.ie. He co-authored the Irish bestselling book ''Old Ireland in Colour'' in 2020 and '' Old Ireland in Colour 2'' in 2021. Internet entrepreneur In 1998, Breslin set up an Internet forum to discuss video games which evolved into boards.ie, one of Ireland's largest indigenous websites. He was awarded Net Visionary awards by the Irish Internet Association in 2005 and 2006. In 2006, Breslin co-founded adverts.ie, an online classified ads website and spin-off from boards.ie. Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital
The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital (; ga, Ospidéal Ollscoile Ban ⁊ Naonáin an Chúim) is a voluntary teaching hospital providing a range of medical services to both women and newborn infants in Dublin, Ireland. It is managed by Dublin Midlands Hospital Group. History The hospital was founded by Margaret Boyle in the vacated building of the Meath Hospital in the Coombe in Dublin's Liberties area in 1826. It formally opened as the Coombe Lying-in Hospital in 1829 and was granted a Royal Charter in 1867. The hospital moved to modern premises nearby in Dolphin's Barn in 1967. Although the old hospital was demolished, the portico was retained as a monument to the many mothers who gave birth in the old hospital. The new facility was renamed the Coombe Women's Hospital in 1993 and it was renamed the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital in January 2008. The Irish Book Awards are Irish literary awards given annually to books and authors in various categories. In 2018 An Post took over sponsorship of the awards from Bord Gais Energy. It is the only literary award supported by all-Irish bookstores. First awarded in 2006, they grew out of the Hughes & Hughes bookstore's Irish Novel of the Year Prize which was inaugurated in 2003. Since 2007 the Awards have been an independent not-for-profit company funded by sponsorship. The primary sponsor is An Post, the state owned postal service in Ireland. There are currently nine categories, seven of which are judged by the Irish Literary Academy, two by a public vote. There is also a lifetime achievement award. Ryan Tubridy (born 28 May 1973), nicknamed 'Tubs ' is an Irish broadcaster. He presents ''The Ryan Tubridy Show'' and '' The Late Late Show''. Tubridy previously presented RTÉ 2fm breakfast radio show ''The Full Irish'', which at its end was the second most popular radio programme in Ireland.
