John Blaq
John Blaq (born Kasadha John on 16 July 1996) is a Ugandan musician, songwriter & performing artist . He is commonly known for his bass vocals and dancehall music accompanied with the introduction Uganda Certificate of Education">UCE and a UACE certificate in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Musical career John Blaq broke through in 2018 with his single, "Tukwatagane". The song "Sweet Love" was his first collaboration with Vinka, and was released in December, 2018. Jinja, Uganda
Jinja is a city in the Eastern Region of Uganda, located on the North shores of Lake Victoria. Location Jinja is in Jinja District, Busoga sub-region, in the Eastern Region of Uganda. The 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards ceremony was postponed. The event was set to be held in Kampala, Uganda. The award ceremony, was to be aired live on MTV Base, and MTV was to air the event globally, in 180 countries, for the first time, according to Paul Grein of Billboard. The show was to be hosted virtually by DJ Khaled in the City of Miami. The ceremony was set to feature performances from various African celebrities; Wizkid, Sheebah Karungi, Diamond Platnumz, Khaligraph Jones, Nasty C, Suspect 95, Soraia Ramos, and Calema, among others. DJ Shiru
DJ Shiru (born Kiberu Bashir) is a Ugandan disc jockey. He started his career at the age of 17 following his brother, a famous Dj Rota in Kampala, Uganda. Together with DJ Rota, DJ Shiru was one of the first Disc Jockeys to play music for international artists in Uganda. He is a show host of the DanceFloor at one of Uganda's top stations 97.7 Record FM.
