FC Twente
Football Club Twente () is a Dutch professional football club from the city of Enschede, sometimes known internationally as Twente Enschede. The club was formed in 1965 by the merger of 1926 Dutch champions Sportclub Enschede with Enschedese Boys. Douglas Franco Teixeira (born 12 January 1988), simply known as Douglas, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Co Adriaanse (born 21 July 1947) is a Dutch football manager and former player who played as a centre-back. Playing career As a professional player, Adriaanse played for six seasons with (now dissolved) De Volewijckers (from 1964 until 1970) and a further six seasons with Utrecht (1970 until 1976), retiring from football at age 29. Managerial career Early career Adriaanse began his managing career with Zilvermeeuwen in 1979, and after four years he joined AZ for the first time as scout and youth trainer. Andrej Rendla (born 13 October 1990) is a retired Slovak footballer who played as a forward. Career Early career Rendla debuted in professional football one day after his 16th birthday for Dukla Banská Bystrica. Because of the low age he had, he was the youngest player to debut in the Slovak Superliga ever. In 21 league matches, he scored 1 goal, and he soon attracted attention by FC Twente. In the summer of 2007, Rendla signed a youth contract with Twente. Bart Buysse (; born 16 October 1986) is a Belgian footballer who plays as a left back for Belgian club SV Oostkamp. Rasmus Mattias Bengtsson (born 26 June 1986) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Starting off his professional career with Trelleborgs FF in 2006, he went on to represent Hertha BSC in the German Bundesliga and Twente in the Dutch Eredivise before retiring at his boyhood club Malmö FF in 2021. Sander Bernard Jozef Boschker (born 20 October 1970) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently the goalkeeping coach at Twente. Ola John (born 19 May 1992) is a professional footballer who plays for Al-Hazem as a left winger. Born in Liberia, he has represented the Netherlands national team. A product of FC Twente's youth system, he played with their first team from 2010 to 2012 before joining S.L. Benfica. Steven Berghuis (born 19 December 1991) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Netherlands national team. Luuk de Jong (; born 27 August 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven and the Netherlands national team.
