Jog (raga)
Jog is a Raga in Hindustani classical music. It is one of the more popular ragas appearing often in films. Sometimes, experts assign this raga to be a member of Kafi thaat. Structure Raga Jog omits the second and the sixth intervals, Ri and Dha, making it pentatonic, or Audav in nature. In ascending, it uses Shuddha Ga, and in descending, it uses Komal Ga. It takes Raga Tilang for its base which itself is derived from Khamaj. ''Thedi Vandha Mappillai'' () is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language film produced and directed by B. R. Panthulu. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Jayalalithaa, S. A. Ashokan, Major Sundarrajan, M. V. Mano (singer)
Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Mano has recorded more than 1,000 songs for film and private various Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya and Hindi films. ''Nalla Naal'' () is a 1984 Tamil-language action film directed by R. Thyagarajan. It stars Vijayakanth and Thyagarajan. Plot The film tells in a flashback that the father of Chinna Durai is assassinated by the father of Kaali. Chinna Durai takes revenge, kills him and goes to prison leaving his mother and sister to see him leave. Furious, Kaali promises to kill Chinna Durai on her way out.
