Joey Simon Villaseñor (born October 17, 1975) is an American former professional mixed martial artist. A professional competitor from 1999 until 2012, Villasenor competed for the PRIDE Fighting Championships, Strikeforce (mixed martial arts), Strikeforce, EliteXC, King of the Cage, Deep (mixed martial arts), DEEP, Shark Fights, BAMMA, and the World Fighting Alliance. Villasenor is the former List of KOTC champions, King of the Cage Middleweight Champion, and defended this title seven times before vacating it to sign with PRIDE Fighting Championships, PRIDE. Background Villasenor was born in East Los Angeles and lived there for the first nine years of his life before moving to New Mexico in 1984. A professional competitor since 2004, he has formerly competed for the UFC, EliteXC, DEEP, DREAM, K-1 (MMA), Shooto, and Pancrase. Murilo Milani Rua (; born May 22, 1980), also known as Ninja, is a retired Brazilian mixed martial artist who fought in Pride Fighting Championships. He is the older brother of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. He is known for his aggressive Muay Thai style. ''Pride 32: The Real Deal'' was a mixed martial arts event and was held by the Pride Fighting Championships. The event took place on October 21, 2006, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Background This was the first Pride event to be held outside Japan. Since the event took place in Nevada, Pride had to modify its rules to follow Nevada's version of the ''Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts'' for this event.
