Joey Stec
Joey Stec (born 1947) is an American songwriter, singer, guitarist, producer and president of Sonic Past Music. Biography In 1967, he became a member of the Millennium. In 1969 he joined The Blues Magoos, and formed The Dependables. In 1976, he released a solo album on Playboy Records, produced by Rolling Stones producer Jimmy Miller. While Stec doesn't have name recognition, he worked with well-known artists. The Millennium (band)
The Millennium were an American sunshine pop band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1967. History Boettcher had originally worked with drummer Ron Edgar for a brief time in the folk group The GoldeBriars. Following the dissolution of The GoldeBriars, Edgar joined the group The Music Machine, which also featured Doug Rhodes on organ. The Music Machine scored a Top 40, Top 20 hit record, hit with the song "Talk Talk (The Music Machine single), Talk Talk" before disbanding. Boettcher had also formed a group called The Ballroom, which featured Graham Salisbury, Sandy Salisbury as a vocalist. Lee Mallory had worked as a songwriter and solo performer, and Boettcher had produced some of his recordings, including a cover of Phil Ochs' "That's The Way It's Gonna Be". The Blues Magoos are an American rock group from The Bronx, a borough of New York City, United States. They were at the forefront of the psychedelic music trend, beginning in 1966. They are best known for the hit song "(We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet". History 1964–1971 The band was formed in 1964 as The Trenchcoats. The original members were Emil "Peppy" Thielhelm "Peppy" Castro (vocals and guitar), Dennis LePore (lead guitar), Ralph Scala (organ and vocals), Ron Gilbert (bass) and Jon Finnegan (drums). James Miller (March 23, 1942 – October 22, 1994) was an American record producer and musician. While he produced albums for dozens of different bands and artists, he is most closely associated for his work with several key musical acts of the 1960s and 1970s. Miller rose to prominence working with the various bands of vocalist Steve Winwood (including Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, and Blind Faith).
