Joevin Jones
Joevin Martin Jones (born 3 August 1991) is a Trinidadian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Major League Soccer club Inter Miami and the Trinidad and Tobago national team. Jones' professional career began with W Connection in his native Trinidad and Tobago, where he made his first-team debut in 2009, at the age of 17. During his time with the ''Savonetta Boys'', Jones won the TT Pro League title twice and the FA Trophy in 2013–14. After his fourth season with W Connection, in 2014, he was loaned to Finnish club HJK Helsinki. Jones then moved to Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire for the 2015 season before spending the 2016 and 2017 seasons with Seattle Sounders FC. He joined German 2. Bundesliga club Darmstadt on 1 January 2018. He later returned to Seattle Sounders FC on 7 May 2019. Seattle Sounders Football Club is an American professional men's soccer club based in Seattle. The Sounders compete as a member of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). The club was established on November 13, 2007, and began play in 2009 as an MLS expansion team. The Sounders are a phoenix club, carrying the same name as the original Sounders franchise that competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1974 to 1983. The club's majority owner is Adrian Hanauer, and its minority owners are the estate of Paul Allen, Drew Carey, and 14 families from the Seattle area. 2009 TT Pro League
The 2009 TT Pro League season (known as the ''Digicel Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the eleventh season of the TT Pro League, the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1999. A total of eleven teams contested the league, with San Juan Jabloteh the defending champions. The season began on 8 May, with ''Super Friday'', and ended on 27 October. The format of the season was changed from each club playing three rounds to two rounds in the regular season to facilitate the national team with its attempt to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Alvin Jones (born 9 July 1994) is a Trinidadian footballer who plays as a right-back who currently plays for TT Premier Football League club Club Sando and the Trinidad and Tobago national team. International career Jones played for the Trinidad and Tobago U23 team at the 2015 Pan American Games – Men's tournament. On October 10, 2017, he received international fame after his performance against the United States in a World Cup qualifying match, in which he scored a shot from long distance. The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 15th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the biennial international men's soccer championship of the North, Central American, and Caribbean region organized by CONCACAF. The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 12th CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 22nd CONCACAF regional championship overall in CONCACAF's fifty years of existence. The United States was the host nation. The competition began on 7 July 2013 at the Rose Bowl, and ended with the final on 28 July 2013 at Soldier Field, with the United States defeating Panama 1–0.
