Joetex Asamoah Frimpong
Kwabena Joseph "Joetex" Asamoah Frimpong (born 17 April 1982) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Frimpong was born in Mampong. He began his career in Nigeria with Gabros of Nnewi and El-Kanemi, where he became top scorer and earned a move to Enyimba F.C. He won the CAF African Champions League with Enyimba in 2003 and 2004, scoring a total of 14 goals, but he missed the 2005 competition through injury. He signed on loan for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nasr on 3 February 2006, with an option to make the deal permanent. The 2006 FIFA World Cup, also branded as Germany 2006, was the 18th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football world championship tournament. It was held from 9 June to 9 July 2006 in Germany, which had won the right to host the event in July 2000.
